Revised Bylaws

Earlier this year, the St. Mark’s vestry approved a broad revision of the parish bylaws. This revision now needs approval at a congregational meeting with additional details forthcoming. You can view the proposed revision of the bylaws here.

Parish Hall Update

An brief update from the Program Subcommittee regarding the Parish Hall Project.

– The presubmission meeting was completed June 27. One neighbor and a few parishioners attended.

– The Historical Preservation Committee (HPC) Application for Advice was filed by Murphy & Dittenhafer on July 10. We hope to be on the docket for the HPC’s August 1 meeting.

– The Conditional Use Application will be filed with Howard County the third week of July.

– The Architecture Committee continues to work on the schematic design of the interior and exterior of the new parish hall. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the design presented during the May 5th meeting. Much work is still to be done!
